The Trip

Background

We spend seven days in October (during the fall break) in the Chiricahua Mountains. Some of our camping evenings will be spent at Rucker Station, a historic ranger station located at 5700 feet elevation in the Douglas District of the Coronado National Forest. The station is adjacent to Rucker Creek, and the surrounding forest is beautiful Madrean Evergreen Woodland.
